1. the whole portfolio resides on one huge page. begins with just the categories and a click on one category would animate the page to a corner showing the entire collection of that category.
2. similar to number one, but with a hot button effect (print= up, web=down, motion=right, back=left) - going any direction would animate but also create an overlay of more options and/or images.
3. stack of books in a 3d space that each hold print, motion, web, etc.

ooooo! using the keyboard is a fantastic idea! I'm all about abandoning the use of the mouse. This guy uses the motion sensors in your laptop to navigate his portfolio.
